Model CS, 17 Watts, 115 VAC. Tip temperature 700 ° to 750 °F (371 ° to 399 °C). Heating element shaft diameter 0.178". This lightweight and perfectly balanced soldering iron is as powerful as a conventional 35 Watt iron but easier to handle.
Model TCS, 50 Watts, 115 VAC and 24 Volt Models Can be used with any 24 Volt/AC Power Supply. Tip temperature adjusts from 390 ° to 850 °F (200 ° to 450 °C). Controlled in 50 °C increments. Temperature stability is ±2 °C idling and ±1% in typical use. Heating element shaft diameter 0.178".
Features in-handle positive feedback temperature control. Easy to adjust using a small screwdriver. Heats up to 650 °F in a minute or less with rapid recovery times. Zero voltage switching eliminates the potential for damage to sensitive electronic components. Ideal for use by field service technicians and other situations where temperature control is desirable, but separate ...
(12) These tips are designed for 0.178" heating element shafts. Like our Series 140 Tips, they are made from a special copper alloy giving them maximum strength at high temperatures and maximum heat conductivity for rapid heat up and recovery times. Featuring multilayer construction, they are also nickel plated for easy wetting and a long shelf life. For applications demanding extended tip wear, iron plated tips are available.
These tips have more copper and, therefore greater thermal inertia. Easy to use, they slide-on directly over the heating element. To change tips, simply remove your old tip and slide the new one on.
(7) These tips have the same features as our Series 180 Tips but have even heavier walls for extra heavy-duty soldering applications. Dimensions are before plating. For Iron Plated tips, add 0.010" to the tip diameter. If you don't find the tip you need here, give us a call. We're in business to make you more productive.
